SCREENWRITING WORKSHOPS

Adult Class for Fall/Winter 2006

October 12, 2006 - December 7, 2006

This 8 week class is ideal for writers of any level who want to develop a screenplay idea, outline, partially completed or finished script. Classroom instruction and interactive exercises will focus on the major screenplay elements of theme, character development, plot, structure and dialogue.

We help students develop a theme and main character that will hook a professional Hollywood reader from page one to the very end. We also help students to structure their stories to hit the plot milestones that every development executive or producer looks for.

Each week students will read aloud each other's synopses, outlines or script pages and receive feedback. At no additional cost, students have up to one month after the course ends to submit a finished screenplay for studio-level "coverage" (feedback) by their instructors.
